Scope of nursing practice includes chemical dependency, dual diagnosis and psychiatric nursing

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Director of Nursing (DON) provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for all nursing services within a detoxification and residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program. The DON is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to clients experiencing substance withdrawal, co-occurring mental health disorders, and addiction-related medical conditions. This role oversees nursing operations, staffing, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, medication management, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support client recovery and treatment outcomes.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review chart documentation for clarity, accuracy, and content and initiate corrective action as needed.
Works in collaborations with Quality Assurance Committee
Develop goals and objectives for all medical staff and programs, including daily census goals and AMA rate reduction.
Promote a healthy environment through daily contact for each medical unit and throughout the organization, implementing a Team Problem Solving Procedure.
Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise, and evaluate nursing personnel.
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and compassionate care.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and corrective action as needed.
Identify educational needs and coordinate ongoing staff development programs.
Maintain competency programs related to detoxification protocols, withdrawal assessment tools, emergency response, and behavioral health nursing.
Ensure completion of reports to funding sources (i.e. ADAMHS Board and Lorrain County)
Assist the agency’s Senior Staff in keeping organizational Policies & Procedures updated.
Work cooperatively with other departments to accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
Remain abreast of current nursing standards through written periodicals, by attending workshops and seminars.
Ensure departmental compliance with Stella Maris’s policies and procedures, Joint Commission standards, and Ohio MHAS, as well as other accrediting bodies as required.
Oversees response to all medical emergencies across the campus and educates staff as needed.
Manages and creates schedules for all medical interns, PA students and PG2 residents, creating a well-rounded teaching experience in all levels of care.
Completes an annual risk analysis for the agency related the education and the policies and procedures of infection control in collaboration with safety captain and quality assurance staff.
Available to the medical staff after hours to address significant concerns and to provide directives and/or help solve problems.
Works the Medical Director and the staff physicians to problem-solve issues related to patient care as identified by direct care staff.
Needs to establish and maintain a working relationship with purchased services representatives (e.g., Pharmacy and Laboratory) to facilitate services and to address any issues that arise.
Assist the CEO in developing, within budgeting constraints, yearly clinical service goals.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the IT Director, the Network & Systems Specialist specifically configures and maintains the Stella Maris, Inc. campus and cloud (M365) network and systems, including physical and virtual servers, firewalls, printers, PCs, phones and other related devices connected to the Stella Maris, Inc. office LAN and WAN; handles hardware, software and cloud maintenance.
Installation of software. Performs other network and hardware related tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for day-to-day office network operations. Responsible for network and systems operations and functionality. Responsible for Stella Maris, Inc. campus network servers, desk machines, core servers, cloud systems (M365), storage, backups and archived data and Microsoft user accounts.
With direction of the IT Director, prepares, schedules and executes network environment-related changes and implementations.
Configuration and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers including Domain, DNS, DHCP, Utility, Phone servers, Backup server, Virtual Hosts, Exchange Online, Defender Antivirus/Security, the M365 (Teams, AAD, Intune, and all relevant Microsoft cloud management) in the production, development, research, and testing environments in/on the Stella Maris, Inc. network. This includes physical, virtual and cloud.
Configures and maintains peripheral systems. Domain Naming System to ensure proper pointing and routing of naming system such as the A (address) records, the MX (email) records and the CNAME record. Maintains other internet related services such as domain name registration, and web email (OWA). Maintains Fax System and routing configurations, maintaining proper permissions and connectivity. Duo-MFA configuration and maintenance.
Maintenance, configuration and assistance in continued development of the LAN and WAN infrastructure and other devices connected to the Stella Maris, Inc. network such as printers, firewalls, routers, wireless access points, PC’s, laptops, etc. This includes assigning IP settings, installing system updates, maintain virus and spy-ware protection, maintain firewall appliances.
Configures and maintains the Stella Maris, Inc. environment storage and backups.
Configures and maintains the Stella Maris, Inc. domains and domain accounts such as creation and set up of groups and account permissions.
Configuration and maintenance of Exchange Online. Responsible for the creation and disabling/archiving/deletion of email accounts.
Asset management via logging of new and decommissioned hardware.
Responsible for installation, updating/upgrading, and security patching of software and operating systems. Responds to computer and network problems in a timely manner.
Configures and maintains of all phone and voicemail telecommunications, including Mitel Connect & Director). Manages repairs and upgrades. Provides support on all aspects of the voice communications system.
Configures and maintains of Stella Maris, Inc. security camera system environment wide.
Configuration and maintenance of all audio and video communications systems, including, but not limited to Microsoft Teams and all physical A/V resources connected to the Stella Maris, Inc. environment.
Provides on-site and remote service to staff and public. Assist in the supporting and troubleshooting of internal and external/agency users (related to Stella Maris, Inc. dependent operations) when needed; seeking management approval when dealing with such unusual events that may be outside the scope of normal day to day operations.
Assists and/or covers for Help Desk Coordinator as needed.
Assists IT Director in technical projects as needed.
Assists IT Director in disaster recovery.
Performs other technical duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred BA in Information Services or related field (or equivalent experience) with minimum of four years’ experience in Network and/or Systems administration. Certifications preferred, but not required. Experience with AD/AAD, Local and Wide Area networks, Windows Server (2016-2021), M365 Environment, Firewalls (Dell SonicWall, WatchGuard), Windows 10/11, Command Line, PowerShell and basic secure communications protocols.
Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS:
Valid State of Ohio RN or LPN license
Knowledge of chemical dependency, disease concept, 12-step programs.
Preferred minimum two years’ experience working in a treatment center or subacute detoxification unit.
Has a clear understanding of subacute detoxification treatment protocols.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The intake admission nurse provides timely and thorough admission assessment and reports this to the unit nursing staff or other clinical levels of care. The admissions nurse also initiates the intake process for all inquiries and schedules incoming clients. Combined, these activities support the overall daily census goal of the programs offered at Stella Maris.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to complete nursing admission assessments and prepare treatment plan.
Contact the physician on call and obtain clinical orders based on results of urine toxicology screening as well as objective and subjective information.
Complete medication reconciliation including entering all home medications and obtaining orders from the physician to continue during detoxification or other services.
Completion of requirements for annual agency training compliance.
Upon initial completion of the admission process, the nurse is responsible for a visual search of the client while changing into detoxification unit regulation scrubs and a thorough search of the client’s street attire and belongings.
Following client hand off to the detoxification technician, the admission nurse gives a full verbal report to the detoxification unit floor nurse including the doctor’s orders any pertinent client information that may have a direct bearing on their successful treatment.
Retrieves all voice mails and contacts potential clients as needed for phone screening then enters all appropriate referral information into Sigmund.
Works in tandem with floor nurse and intake team consisting of nursing and counseling staff.

SUMMARY
Chemical Dependency Counselor provides individual and group counseling services to the patients receiving care on the Stella Maris sub-acute detoxification unit and their families. The Counselor completes a comprehensive psychosocial assessment, formulates a treatment plan, and makes referrals for ongoing care as appropriate. The Counselor maintains appropriate documentation of all services and links clients to further chemical dependency services upon discharge.

Minimum credential of a CDCA in the State of Ohio, higher degrees encouraged to apply (LCDCII, LCDCIII, LSW, LISW)
Two years of experience in a role of similar capacity
Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, social work, or related field a plus

SUMMARY
The Patient Care Liaison has a unique role that provides integrated support to patients and the Stella Maris team by providing a hands-on approach to total quality patient care. As the organization expands, this position is considered essential to the growth and maintenance of the admissions function. A successful candidate for this role will have previous experience working in a healthcare setting and a desire to work at the forefront of business operations serving a diverse population. This candidate will also need to have a high degree of emotional intelligence to ensure that all job duties and responsibilities are conducted in a way that fosters a kind, compassionate, and client-focused experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming calls and questions regarding treatment options available to those seeking detox, inpatient, and outpatient services offered by Stella Maris
Provide a compassionate and acceptance driven approach focused on consistently fostering a culture of kindness and welcoming
Communicate daily with Intake staff on appointment times and schedule changes
Input and update appointment times in the electronic calendar system
Aid in appropriately rerouting client questions or referrals to outside organizations when needed
Consult with the Director of Admissions and intake team on client related questions
Greet and direct guests as they arrive to central intake at Stella Maris
Complete screening questionnaires with potential clients and input data into the electronic system
Report to the Director of Admissions for daily assignments and tasks needing to be completed
Create and maintain a file management system that aids in the ease of the ongoing filing and organizing of screenings by month, year, and client status
Understand and practice regulatory compliance through being familiar with standards and department/organization policies/procedures including, but not limited to: OSHA and HIPAA
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of experience fulfilling duties in a healthcare administration function or similar position. Similar positions may include, Medical Billing Specialist, STNA or Receptionist.

SUMMARY
The Resident Assistant provides guidance and support for all residents within the Stella Maris
Supportive Housing assisting withholding residents accountable during their journey of change. The Resident Assistant is responsible for ensuring the environment is safe and stable at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that the Supportive Housing activities are consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Stella Maris
Oversee all residents’ activities during assigned shifts and provide residents with support and guidance
Always serve as an example
Attend either morning or afternoon Therapeutic Community meetings
Model recovery principles and prosocial behavior for all residents in the program.
Oversee residents to ensure that house rules and policies are followed
Monitor residents for potential warning signs concerning recurrence of symptoms and refer them for more support
Check in with residents on a daily basis
Responsible for being at the house overnight and on weekends to ensure that there are paid staff onsite whenever residents are present for our Level III housing
Must be available to residents if they need additional support
Enforce Supportive Housing schedule/curriculum and quiet time procedures
Search belongings and complete required paperwork and scanning of resident’s chart
Oversee assigned residents’ chores and provide constructive feedback

This role will be responsible for planning food menus, developing the staff, scheduling shifts, routine ordering, coordinating food preparation, and serving during the week. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience in catering or hospitality with solid organizational abilities.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for assisting the flow of daily kitchen operations. Duties include cooking, cleaning, taking inventory, and any other tasks assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
